Offerings

Sex Under the Influence

A risk reduction approach.

While sex is likely safer when all parties are sober, hookup culture and drinking culture are deeply intertwined. Students are going to have sex under the influence.

In this workshop, students will reflect on what it means to have sex under the influence and learn practical risk-reduction strategies to keep themselves and others safer.

These workshops can be hosted by student organizations or by the school, itself.

Consent Shake-Up

Students want realistic and relatable. You want effective.

Every college is required to meet Title IX standards of sexual assault prevention training. But the learning often isn’t enough.

When you host a Comprehensive Consent workshop, students will guide the conversation as they think critically about the nuances of consent and reflect on how context impacts what a solid consent practice looks like. They will leave the workshop feeling more confident and competent in navigating sexual consent.

These workshops can be hosted by student organizations or by the school, itself.

For Faculty & Staff

Creating a consent culture.

Whether we realize it or not, we are always teaching our students. They observe our behavior, hear our conversations, and notice our decisions. When a school culture doesn’t reflect the values preached in the classroom, we undermine our consent initiatives and reinforce the exact habits we’re trying to help students avoid.

Comprehensive Consent offers schools a 90-minute presentation to support their understanding of consent as a dynamic interpersonal practice and give them the tools to successfully apply what they learn to their everyday interactions with students and colleagues.

Secondary Prevention

What do you do when a student is accused of sexual assault?

Comprehensive Consent provides one-on-one education to help alleged perpetrators understand the factors that may have impacted their choices, overcome the barriers to making decisions that align with their values, and take accountability when they cause harm.

Regardless of the investigative outcomes, schools have the opportunity to provide all of their students with care, support, and education. I hope that your school never finds itself in this situation. If it ever does, keep Comprehensive Consent in mind. Learn more by emailing Sarah at sarah@comprehensiveconsent.com.

Please note that Comprehensive Consent does not handle legal matters. We are an educational company teaching consent as a social-emotional practice to kids, teens, and emerging adults.

All workshops and presentations are offered virtually and in-person throughout the greater NYC area. Custom workshops are available upon request.
